Tabloid is a walking installation and intervention that playfully looks at cognitive bias, and the notion of brain plasticity. How flexible are we with what we believe, how forgiving are we to those who believe something contrary?
This piece was initiated in response to being part of “Your Reality is Broken: A Festival on Perception, Abstracted Art and Neuroscience” at the Wellcome Collection. See full program here
Traversing the spaces of the Wellcome Collection, Mamatrix connected people while dictating post truth monologues, and inviting people to be interactive with on the spot ritual making based on a simple card game.

She led them around the museum, connecting senses and spaces. She engaged them in multi sensory games and sometimes took them into the live ritual chamber where she invited the audience to spontaneously create a live ritual with some guidance, directed towards the live organism planted in the middle of the studio.
